Pre-launch — waiting list open

Somebody is already drivingyour route today.

Routism is a smart ride-sharing platform that connects people traveling on the same route, helping them save money, reduce traffic, and build a greener future—one shared journey at a time.

Ride systems

Three ways to travel together

Every booking on Routism belongs to one of three systems. You pick the one that fits the journey, and matching adapts to it.

Ride

One trip, one time, inside your city

A single point-to-point journey. You set a pickup, a drop and when you want to leave, and Routism shows people travelling the same way at roughly the same time.

Best for

Airport runs, meetings, college, one-off city trips

As a rider

  • Drivers already heading your way
  • Fare agreed before the trip
  • No surge, no guesswork

As a driver

  • Fill empty seats on a trip you were making anyway
  • Pick who you travel with
  • Cover fuel and tolls

Share Ride

Long distance, shared seats

Intercity and long-route travel. A driver publishes the route they are driving, and riders travelling along that corridor can join for part or all of the journey.

Best for

Weekend trips home, intercity travel, long highway routes

As a rider

  • Join a route that already passes you
  • Pay a share instead of a full cab fare
  • Pickup and drop along the corridor

As a driver

  • Turn a long empty drive into a shared one
  • Choose how many seats to offer
  • Company on the highway

Daily Commute

The same route, the same days, every week

Built for people who make the same journey every week. You choose the weekdays you travel, and Routism matches you only with people whose route and days actually overlap with yours.

Best for

Office commutes, campus travel, recurring shift work

As a rider

  • Match on route and weekdays together
  • See who you are travelling with before you commit
  • A commute partner instead of a daily search

As a driver

  • Regular riders on the drive you already do
  • Set your own days and vehicle
  • Predictable, recurring company

Creation flow

From an empty form to a confirmed seat

The same seven steps whether you are riding or driving, and whichever system you booked under.

  1. 01

    Choose your side

Join as a Rider looking for a seat, or as a Driver offering one. The same account does both — switch whenever you like.

  2. 02

    Pick the ride system

Ride for a single city trip, Share Ride for long distance, or Daily Commute for the journey you repeat every week.

  3. 03

    Set your route and time

Enter pickup, drop and when you want to leave. Drop time is optional — most people only know when they need to start.

  4. 04

Add what matters for your type

Daily Commute asks which weekdays you travel. Drivers add available seats and pick a verified vehicle.

  5. 05

    Find your route

Routism matches you with people going the same way — same corridor, compatible timing, and for commutes, overlapping weekdays.

  6. 06

    Agree on the fare

Send an offer, receive a counter, chat it through. Nobody travels until both sides agree on a number.

  7. 07

    Confirm and travel

Once both sides confirm, contact details unlock and the ride is locked in. Complete the trip and you are done.

  8. Want to be in the first batch?

Matching only works when enough people share your route. That is what the waiting list is for.

Without vs with

What actually changes

Sharing a ride is not a new idea. Making it reliable enough to depend on every week is the hard part.

Finding someone

Post in a WhatsApp group, ask around the office, and hope the right person happens to see it.

People on your exact route appear automatically, no asking required.

Trust

You are getting into a car with someone you know nothing about.

Verified profiles with identity and vehicle checks before anyone travels.

Price

Awkward haggling, or one person quietly paying for everything.

Offer, counter, agree — the fare is settled before the trip starts.

Empty seats

Three empty seats on the same drive, every single day.

Drivers fill the seats on routes they were already driving.

Daily commutes

A different arrangement every week because nobody tracks who travels which days.

Daily Commute matches route and weekdays together, so it actually repeats.

Privacy

Your number gets passed around before you have agreed to anything.

Contact details unlock only after both sides confirm the ride.

Cost

Full cab fare, paid alone, for a journey someone else is also making.

The same journey, split between the people already making it.

Verified before travel

Identity, licence and vehicle checks on the people you match with.

Fare agreed upfront

Offers and counters happen before the trip, never after it.

Private until confirmed

Chat in-app first. Contact details unlock only when both sides accept.

Be there when your route goes live

Tell us your name, mobile, email and what you do. We use it to work out which routes and cities to open first — and to let you in before everyone else.
