Question 1

What is Routism?

Accepted Answer

Routism is a mobility platform for ride sharing and carpooling in Uttar Pradesh. It connects customers with verified drivers for safe, secure, affordable and convenient travel — local rides, outstation journeys, shared booking and daily commute.

Question 2

How do I book a ride on Routism?

Accepted Answer

Enter your pickup and drop-off locations, choose Rides, Shared Booking or Daily Commute, then connect with a verified driver. You can book local, one-way, outstation or round-trip travel depending on your need.

Question 3

Can I become a driver on Routism?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Complete driver verification with your profile, licence and vehicle details. Once verified, you can offer rides, shared bookings and daily commutes and build regular customers instead of searching every day.

Question 4

Is my payment information secure?

Accepted Answer

Payments on Routism are handled through secure, industry-standard providers. Fares are shown before you confirm so you know the cost of your ride sharing or shared booking in advance.

Question 5

How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

Routism shows competitive fares upfront. Shared booking lets co-riders split travel costs on a similar route, which can make a journey more affordable than a solo cab.

Question 6

What are the three ways to travel on Routism?

Accepted Answer

One platform, three systems: Rides for every individual journey; Shared Booking to travel together and share the fare; and Daily Commute for one regular route and a recurring booking.

Question 7

What ride types can I book?

Accepted Answer

Under Rides you can book local rides within a city, one-way rides, outstation rides between cities across Uttar Pradesh, and round-trip rides when you need both onward and return travel.

Question 8

How does Shared Booking work?

Accepted Answer

Enter pickup and drop-off. Routism can identify compatible co-riders on a similar route. When a match is available, you join the same booking, split travel costs, fill empty seats and travel in the same direction for less.

Question 9

Is Routism available for daily office commutes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Daily Commute is built for office employees, students, teachers and regular commuters. Set your route and time once, create a recurring booking, and match with drivers or commuters on compatible schedules.

Question 10

Does Routism support both customers and drivers in one account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A single account can book a ride as a customer and, after verification, become a driver and offer seats on the same carpool app.

Question 11

Is Routism available in Uttar Pradesh?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Routism is launching in Uttar Pradesh and is designed for all cities and towns of UP — not just Lucknow. Headquarters are in Lucknow.

Question 12

Is Routism only for Lucknow, or for all of Uttar Pradesh?

Accepted Answer

We are starting from Lucknow and building Routism to serve customers and drivers across Uttar Pradesh. The same ride sharing experience is designed for travel within a city, between cities, and across regions of UP — including routes such as Lucknow to Kanpur carpool and Lucknow to Ayodhya shared ride.

Question 13

How much can I save with shared booking or carpooling in Lucknow?

Accepted Answer

Shared booking splits the fare between co-riders on a similar route, so a Lucknow commuter typically pays less than a solo cab. Drivers cover fuel on a trip they were already making, and empty seats get used.

Question 14

Is carpooling in Lucknow safe, especially for women commuters?

Accepted Answer

Routism connects you with verified drivers and uses ratings for transparency. Identity and vehicle checks, plus ratings from other customers, help make women-safe carpooling in Lucknow and ride sharing across Uttar Pradesh more accountable.

Question 15

Can I cancel a booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Bookings can be cancelled according to the applicable booking terms and the Cancellation Policy. Daily commute recurring bookings continue until the customer or driver cancels them.
